Welcome to Nook & Cranny! Our quirky, independent coffee shop hidden in Alderley Edge’s South Street.
I’m beyond thrilled to introduce you to our little hidden gem nestled in the heart of Alderley Edge – Nook & Cranny. We love to celebrate the simple joys of life: from that perfect cup of artisanal coffee to the charm of unique homeware pieces that add a touch of magic to your spaces.
Why Open a Coffee Shop?
A love affair with coffee and my passion for hospitality, inspired me to set up on my own, and create a space where folks can gather, share stories, and create new memories over a hot drink and a delicious cake.
Nook & Cranny started off as the Coffee Shed back in 2021. Owners Ashley and Richard took an old, unused Shed and turned it into a gorgeous and successful business. Handing the baton over to us, my hope is to make Nook & Cranny the go-to coffee shop in Alderley Edge, without losing the cosy and welcoming feeling that the Coffee Shed was known for.
Where is Nook & Cranny?
You can find us right in the heart of Alderley Edge. Tucked away on South Street our little shed is a cosy and welcoming retreat that we hope will capture your heart. Set back from the main highstreet, Nook & Cranny offers a peaceful and relaxing haven to enjoy your brew. We have seating inside, books and board games so you can spend as long as you like and when the sun comes out our outdoor space is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the day.
What does Nook & Cranny sell?
One of the things we’re most passionate about is supporting local artisans and businesses. Our shelves are full of handpicked treasures sourced from small businesses just like us, each item with its own story to tell. From the quirky ceramic mugs crafted by a potter to the intricate designs of handmade greetings cards created by talented artists, every piece has been chosen with care to bring a touch of uniqueness to your home.
We’re not just about the products; we’ve collaborated with local bakers too! Our delicious cakes and pastries are lovingly baked by the team at Silver Apples Bakery in Stockport and The Bread Factory in Manchester delivers fresh bread daily.
We’re also very proud to have partnered with the talented team at Kickback coffee, a local coffee roastery specialising in artisan roasts.
